To answer your comment, well, that’s probably why its use is designed for women to still have four periods a year. It’s not supposed to eliminate the period altogether (probably for the reason to which you alluded), just reduce its frequency. Which may not be a bad idea.
I’m curious as to how they get around the fact that menstruation is necessary to keep things..uhm, flushed so to speak. *shrugs*
