I agree 100%. Obviously there are plenty of individuals in the world who would do harm to a child; that sad fact aside, there is a disturbing trend developing such that just these sort of cases may become more prevalent. I for one am reluctant to even to acknowledge a stranger’s child under most circumstances, so that my words or actions or even visual contact is not perceived by someone to be threatening; the climate for litigation is such that defendants in even the most ridiculous cases, as we see here, face all but insurmountable prejudice.
